IPOD the best May 24, 2008 0 out of 2 found this review helpful
The IPOD Touch 32GB is magnificent. I've had a 20GB model for several years and love it - but the black and gray screen was hard to read - and the battery was finally going - had to recharge it all the time. The only drawback was that all my music is loaded on my Apple laptop with a non-compatible O/S (an older laptop) - but fortunately I have another PC - so all is well - just have to start over again:-) Photos were on both computers so no problem there. I prefer my Apple laptop interface, but the PC is fine. ITunes is the best software for organizing music - since I have several other players (MP3s) that have really poor software, I was glad to get ITunes for the PC. In additional, all my car hookups and speakers systems were compatible - a real plus!

Love it! May 21, 2008 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
I'm not a tech-savvy person and this is my first iPod (yes, I'm a little behind the curve)...I love it. It's very easy to use, though I do recommend watching their tutorial video, especially if, like me, you have little or no experience with iPods or iPhones. I highly recommend this product.
Don't buy the Apple iPod touch 16 GB with Software Upgrade May 20, 2008 6 out of 50 found this review helpful
I received it last night -- I will have to return it -- both Apple and AT&T told me the Amazon Apple iPod touch 16 GB with Software Upgrade is not supported by Apple or AT&T -- it doesn't have a SIM supported by either, and cannot be synched with itunes, Apple, or AT&T -- The software is not officially due until June, so this is a cracked ripoff version of the 499.99 model sold by Apple and AT&T. Do not be fooled like I was by this low price.
Good MP3 player that falls a little short May 17, 2008 1 out of 2 found this review helpful
First, let me say that this is a very nice MP3 player. There are many things that Apple did that well, but there are also minor issues that really hold this product from achieving it's full potential. I actually prefer my PSP and my IPOD classic (which I will be going back to).
PROS: **Sexy sleek body. Very eye catching design and appealing to look at. Front panel very durable, no scratching.
**Nice applications. Checking personal email, having Maps & Notes feature, using Safari, Youtube shortcut and access to stock report are all pretty cool options.
**Coverflow is awesome and in my opinion the best new feature of the IPOD. Glad they expanded it to 32 GB. (However when sync'd to itunes, it says that the capacity is actually 29.6 GB)
CONS: Music Layout design is not as intuitive as the previous IPOD classic. Without the wheel, you need look at the appropriate screen and then select the choices by hitting icons, buttons or rows. For the old version IPOD classic, I never even had to take it out of my pocket because you can control all the options on the wheel. It was easier to switch between menus and selecting music that way, rather than having to stare at the screen and look for what I wanted to play. I think IPOD touch feels clumsy.
**Touch screen not sensitive enough. You literally need to hit the button (or key) dead on in order to respond accurately. Very fustrating.
