Great IPod May 9, 2008 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
My son loves this new IPod...now I want one. It is so clear in sound quality and picture quality. Only if he wouldn't have gotten it stolen 2 months after he received it as a gift...
Enjoyable device May 8, 2008 It's a enjoyable device with so many functions and easy to use. The touch-screen is a big innovation. The only particularity is the easy to stratch manufacture materials. Case should be more self protective.

Nice mp3 player but not for Podcasts May 4, 2008 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I purchased this iPod mainly to listen to podcasts. While I do like the wireless Internet access feature and the tilting screen is nice, I found that this is not really a podcast friendly device. I find that rewinding and fast forwarding are very cumbersome compared to the traditional iPods with the thumb wheel. Additionally since there are no tactile controls you need to be looking at the device in order to use them. It makes it difficult when you are driving or walking to adjust the controls.
I originally owned an iPod mini and I was happy with that device for podcasts so in retrospect I should have gotten a classic. If wireless Internet is not important to you then I recommend you look at the classic or nano.
Music, Video, Love it. May 4, 2008 1 out of 3 found this review helpful
I wish I'd waited a few weeks prior to buying this as the 32 gb version came out. 16gb is a lot though. With 32, I would not have to be as selective when it comes to how many movies I load up. No complaints on operation.
If you need an ipod for working out, or quickly changing volumes by touch/feel, this is not your ipod. Get a nano. But, as a small mobile lightweight internet device that also plays music and videos, it's the tits.
