Good quality, better price September 23, 2007 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Very good charger! I was skeptical to get such a cheap charger for my not so cheap iPod, but it works wonderfully. Very good deal. And fyi, it does work with a voltage converter for travel.
it's okay September 17, 2007 1 out of 2 found this review helpful
i bought it because it was the cheapest of the cheap, and it charges, but i am afraid to let my mp3 charge more than two hours, because it doesn't shut off after it is fully charged.
Excellent value! September 14, 2007 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
This is just what I was looking for! I do a ton of traveling (with and without my laptop) and was always having to search for a way to charge my ipod after using it on flights. This gadget works! It's nice and small, lightweight and best of all, affordable. Even with the somewhat outrageous shipping charges, I bundled this with the car charger and still came out paying less than I would have paid in a retail store just for the AC adapter. I'm really pleased with the product and the fast shipping.
Doesn't work for the IPod Shuffle September 9, 2007 10 out of 11 found this review helpful
This product doesn't work with the IPod Shuffle, even though the description says it does.

I bought this "New" from mac-pro_com (replace "_" with ".") for a little over $5, and while it may not be the same product as other reviewers got, as it differs from the picture, I would like to describe it.
It is nicely sized, easily portable. It charges my iPod very well, and while I only own an 80 GB video model, I assume that it would charge others well. I have NOT tested this with any of the iPod docks.
It has 3 lights, but no instruction as to what the lights indicate. The red light seems to indicate that there is nothing plugged in, or it is not charging. The orange light means charging, and the green light is charged.
However, in my experience, if you unplug the iPod and then plug it back in, it will not charge, and you have to actually unplug the adapter itself and reinsert it in the socket. It also seems sensitive to some types of movement of the cable or iPod, although this certainly could be a problem in the cable itself.
Finally, the plugs are small and fit somewhat loosely in the wall socket, and did not fit at all in my power strip.
I conclude by saying that despite its flaws, the product I received performs no worse for its purpose than a more expensive charger, and is much more portable. I recommend it for anyone who would like to save more than $20, and doesn't mind putting up with a few flaws.
