This charger worked the first time used it, then the next time I pluged it in it wouldn't connect with my Ipod shuffle. The light comes on and I tried a different usb cable and got nothing. This is a shoddy product and only proves you pay for what you get. Don't waste your money.

This product has a cheap feel or heft to it, but it seems to work well and hold up well. Overall, I am pleased with it especially considering the cost.

I was traveling over seas and did not have enough money to buy the Apple charger because $30 then the $50 for the travel kit was not in the cards. It was either a hostel or the streets.
However found this product pussyfooted around for awhile and finally ordered two. One for me (U2 5th generation) and one for my mother (shuffle).
The charger may look flimsy but I did a test run in the States and it worked. Got to Ireland and worried but turns out it works. I love the charger. It did the job and also charged my cousin's shuffle. My mother agrees that it charged her shuffle but pointed out that it was not a quick charger. Still I love it, mainly because I spent $10 for two chargers that would have cost $60.
When I was overseas I just used the adapter and converter from Brookstone. I think my mother was daring enough just to use the adapter and it still charged and did not fry her shuffle. You might buy it, you might not, it worked for me, my mom and my cousin.
I'm giving it five stars because it did what it said it would for three different people with three different i-pods, great price, might not need a converter. My mother would say it was not fast enough charge but nor is the computer. So for me five stars, my mom four stars and my cousin says five.

After I took my charger out of the packaging, I attempted to plug it in. But I had barely even gotten it into the plug when there came a big spark and flash of light, it looked like it was going to go on fire. And i know that it was not my outlet in my wall because after that i plugged something else into it and it work just fine. So this product did not work for me at all! Basically i just waisted 6 dollars and never got to use it once. I was very displeased and I will never buy from this company AGAIN!

I love this little charger for my iPod nano. It works great when I dont want to tie my computer up.
