My 13 year old described this to me. He is out and about on his bike all day, and has a problem with his iPhone's battery running down. We purchased the Mophie Juice Pack, but it broke within 3 months. We are hoping for better with this one. This has features my son likes; for instance, the EXTREMELY bright light. Wish these were thinner.

This product works great. Its not too big and bulky and looks pretty good. It will pretty much double your battery life. I wait till my phone is down to about 50 percent then turn it on and charge it back up. It will do that about twice with one charge. I was charging my phone all the time before this as I use it a lot. The only things that I don't like is that the flash part doesn't work. It works for a flash light in the dark but not to take pics. So depends on what you want it for you might want to save you money and buy the one with out a flash. But it is a bright light so works pretty well as a flash light. The only other thing I don't like is that you have to use a different charger and not the normal iphone charger which kind of sucks. So now you have to tote 2 around with you. Overall it works good and I'm glad I bought it.

This is a great battery extender for iPhone 3GS. I have had this for over 2 months and it works flawlessly. I basically double my iPhone battery life with this case, which is more than sufficient for my needs to get through a full day of decent usage. Does add a little bulk, but I can live with that, rather than have to worry about running out of battery. I no longer worry about turning bluetooth, 3G, etc off on my phone to save battery! All for $40 and change, totally worth it!

The unit I ordered lost 66% of its charge in less than one day, and that was with very minimal usage on and one 15 minute phone call on 3G. A subsequent attempt to charge overnight resulted in similar results the following day. Maybe others have had success with it, but my experience didn't begin to match what the specifications for the unit described.

This is a great product and priced well. It holds charge for a long time if not used, and provides power instantly and recharges quickly very effectively. As a case, it doesn't add too much additional size, although the fit of the case it a little loose and I slipped half a business card inside the back to tighten it up. The light is useful as a flashlight utility, but is only really effective in very dark environments for use as a flash. If this used a generic USB port to charge instead of it's own unique input, I would give it 5 stars.
