The essential idea: charge the battery July 27, 2010

It charges the battery slowly in my dad's iPhone 3G. It works if you plan on plugging it in before going to bed. Sometimes it may stop charging in the 80-90 percent range. It's still better than buying an official charger from Apple for 30 dollars.

I purchased 2 of these wall chargers. Both will charge the phone. However, the phone can't be used while charging with this product. The touchscreen will not function properly. My phone works properly when charging with the sync cord and wall adapter that came with the phone.

I got my charger today it looks JUST like pictured and is charging my phone it dosent seem cheap so far. And its doing what its supposed to do... idk whats up with all the complaints. Its not a OEM charger so idk what you guys expect for 3$. shipped fast as always from eforcity. No complaints :)

This may be a very fine charger, and was a great price, but I never really got to test it because the connector that goes to the phone is too wide to fit through my Otterbox case. If you use any kind of case and need a wall charger, I would suggest sticking with an Apple branded product, as the connector should be thinner.

I was looking for a spare wall outlet charger for my iphone 3GS without having to pay $30 plus dollars. I could not believe I could pick this up for two dollars and change! I bought two and paid $5.60. I now have a spare charger for work and one ready to go in my suitcase. Great value. Also, like the fact that the wall plug has a light indicator. It's a no brainer value!
