This car charger does not work and may cause harm to your iPhone. Me and my fiancé have used it or attempted to use it. Now our phones will not charge sometimes. As a matter of fact when you plug a charger in it will decharge a little then indicate it is fully charged. Do not buy this crap.

Bought this for my iPhone 3GS because of the good reviews listed here. Maybe I just got a bad one. The first time I used it, it did charge the phone quickly but heated it up significantly. I tried it a couple times after that, and it did nothing. Once or twice it would pop up the message on the phone that it was an 'incompatible' accessory, but mostly just nothing happened.

Plugged in this product for the first time in my car charger, heard an electric shock-like sound, and it never worked. It smelled like something burnt on the inside. Worthless product.
