This is sturdier than the white cord this comes with the iphone. I just wish it was a foot longer.

The cable is a good quality and sturdy cable. The only negative seems to be that back ups of my phone and data exchanges seem to take a little longer but it's not that noticeable. I'm not sure if that's the cable or my computer/phone. I've broken at least four of the cables from Apple with no more than gentle use. They've all broken in the same place at the neck of blade plug in. With this cable's sturdier connectors, I look forward to having a cable that I hopefully won't have to replace in 6 months.

I went by R. Diamond's review that indicated the cable was longer than the white one that comes with the 3Gs phone. It is the exact same lenght as the one that comes with the phone. Thanks for a crappy review R. Diamond. You just cost me $5 for nothing!!

I bought this as a backup to the prissy little white cable that came with my Ipod Touch. I knew that if I looked at the Apple cable wrong, it would probably break.
This is now what I use as my primary cable as it is just better than the prissy little white cable from Apple.
* Longer. Almost twice as long as the prissy little white cable.
* Stronger. Cable seems more durable than the prissy little white cable. Looks like a man designed it instead of the sissy boys at Apple!
* Locks in place on Ipod Touch with 2 release buttons on either side of connector because men yank on things!
* Manly Black instead of the prissy white.
* Price is hard to beat! More money for Beer!
*** Others have mentioned this doesn't fit the Otterbox case. It is well known that due to the Otterbox design, most everything that connects requires the removal of the Otterbox for port access. If you have a standard case with good cutouts, this shouldn't be an issue. Seriously, if your not stationed in a war zone, an Otterbox is overkill anyway. Not to mention your stuck with that prissy little white cable!
