I installed this part as described using videos on YouTube. Was not difficult. Very happy it worked out.
All good except connecting a wire to the iphone July 9, 2010

Everything worked out well for me, but I got so frustrated at the end when I had to connect its wire inside my iphone. I'm not sure why it gave me such a hard time - it didn't fit properly to its wire-placement (#1) if you understand what it means. Besides that, it works great!

I received the LCD screen and installed it easily enough. Then nothing. The new screen will not light up. The old one did it was just cracked. This new one won't light up at all. Worse, the company makes it clear in the receipt that all sales are final. There are no refunds.

When my iphone was broken, I searched high and low not to spend alot of money to repair it. There were sites promising to fix my phone, provided I send it to them and pay through the nose. I have been satisfied with the availability that Amazon provides in searching for great deals. I placed my search and came across this repair kit. I was all set. I was surprised by the amount of tools given. A guitar pick? I repaired my phone and have been spreading the word to my friends. If my phone needs parts, I NOW know where to go.
