5 out of 5 stars Another Quality Apple Product   March 11, 2010

I ordered these to use with my iTouch, hoping they would work well with voice enabled apps. I went with Apple because I trust the brand, and they came through again. These are great, and the microphone is very clear and picks up sounds very well. I've used them with Skype, iCall, and Shazam and they all work great. I would definitely buy them again.

4 out of 5 stars Good Replacement Earphones /w Mic - Recommended!   February 18, 2010

We bought these Apple Earphones as replacements for a lost pair of the standard ones that came with my iTouch (3rd gen).

These work great and the addition of the volume controls is a great feature. I use these for Skype (which works well on the iTouch over WiFi) and have no problem with the clarity or sensitivity of the microphone.

My only minor issues is the these can fall out of my ears when moving around a lot, but otherwise these work better than expected.

Recommended!

Bonito diseño, sonido comparable con los audífonos originales. Buen micrófono para grabar su propia voz, no sonido ambiente

3 out of 5 stars Good for a short period   February 14, 2010

When I got these headphones from Wal-Mart I was quite excited, as I have always had wanted the ability to easily control my music and volume remotely. I really hated having to take my iPod out and pausing or whatever I wanted to do at the time just because someone started talking to me, or I quiet/loud song started playing. These were the solution.

I was never keen about the shape and feel of the earbuds in the ear, but that was overcome by the remote...

The sound quality was anything special. Compared to my current headphones, made by Koss, these are good for mid-range sounds and definitely not bass or detailed sound. In layman's words, they're basically just the stock headphones that come with iPods, but with a remote.

~~~
The reason I rated them 3 stars is because, after about 2-3 months, the headphone the remote on it (labeled "R") stopped working completely. Although the left headphone (labeled "L") worked fine.
I figured out after a very close examination, that there was some damage in the the headphone. It looked to be that the headphone was pinched with some pliers (which I didn't do). This is mostly a break in the wire.
All of the headphones' wire has a matte-rubbery texture. Which was pretty weak, and was easy to break (which I didn't plan on doing so).
I plan on doing some soldering and shrink-tubing to fix it though. (I will try to get the results as soon as possible)
~~~

So overall, these headphones would be much better if they were much more durable, had better sound quality, and were a tad cheaper. (They were the same price on Amazon as they were in Wal-Mart)
