1 out of 5 stars Horrible   November 12, 2008
The product that was received worked for 15 minutes and then did not work again. The return product details did not exist. This was my worst purchase ever and I would never deal with this seller again. If you need this product, contact Nintendo directly. I did and I received a product that is still working and working very well. Amazon should consider no longer associating themselves with this seller.

5 out of 5 stars Love the Wire. Embrace the Wire.   November 11, 2008
There is one big difference to me between a wired sensor and a wireless sensor and that is the need for more batteries.

A wired Wii sensor pays for itself in a month.

4 out of 5 stars Does the job   October 21, 2008
I don't think there is much to review on an item like this but I can say it works well and has been a good replacement for my original stolen sensor bar.

4 out of 5 stars Good replacement but not equal in range   October 10, 2008
I did what so many people have professed to, vacuuming up the cable to the sensor bar. (Do you think I can use this as an excuse with my wife, that when I vacuum it costs us too much money?)
I tried the wireless sensor bar from Walmart, but it takes 4 AA batteries and doesn't have an auto shut off. I ordered this replacement, and it sure looks like an exact replica. It may just be the one I got, but it does not have the range of the original. My living room is 22 feet deep and I used to lose the ability to move the hand on screen at about 15 or 16 feet on the original sensor. This replacement gets shaky at 10-12. Sounds picky but when there is a ceiling fan overhead at 10-12 feet, well, you start to lose fingers. It does pick up all of the button action at the same distance the original did.
I was thoroughly impressed at the speed I received this product. I do believe it was less than 48 hours from the time I ordered it and I did not choose special shipping.

5 out of 5 stars Excellent Product   September 13, 2008
We got this item to replace the sensor bar that our vacuum cleaner ate the wire for. It works even better than the one that came with the Wii and it has a stand too.
