 Don't waste your money! November 22, 2008

If you're looking for a durable product, this is not it. I purchased this and it broke in two weeks! The plastic sheath over the cord separated on both ends within days, and it wasn't long before the frail copper wires inside snapped. As a grad student, I do put a tremendous strain on my power cord--having to pack and unpack my laptop and power cord several times daily. That being said, my original cord lasted through 3 years of such abuse and still works on and off--I'm using it now as I shop for a back-up. Surely, a new cord should not break within the span of a couple weeks, no matter the use.

My teenage twins have Dell laptops and the power cords were shot. I ordered two of these. One was DOA and the other worked for just under a month. Don't waste your cash.

After receiving the battery,I used it for a few days and it doesn't work anymore.I would not buy products from this comapany again.

This thing gets extremely hot; way hotter than the old dell one I had. You could burn yourself on this. I would recommend going some place else.

I purchased this on a Thursday evening. They shipped it on Friday and I received it on Tuesday. Probably would have had it Monday but that was Memorial Day. It was a different model than the original. There was a note card that said it would work. It did. No problems. I hope it will last longer than the one that came with the computer.
