I've had my iPhone 2G for about 6 months. I've been using store bought cases that were functional but rather low in both quality and in aesthetics. Internet searches for better cases had turned up nothing as the focus seems to have shifted to the newer 3G iPhones.
On a whim, I searched Amazon for iPhone 2G cases and stumbled upon this case by Cozip. It appeared to be exactly what I'd been looking for and the price was right. Reviews were very positive so I ordered one in silver, which I figured would best blend in with the phone and not look like a case at all.
This case far exceeded my expectations. It has a great "feel" (rigid enough to be more protective than soft cases with a slightly higher friction factor than I expected) and protects the back and sides of the phone from scratches, which is all the protection that I want. This case is likely the only type of case I'll ever use with my iPhone 2G. I've even ordered a few more in other colors but silver is by far my favorite.
Bottom line- this is an awesome product for an amazing price.

This is the best looking case I have seen/used so far. I haven't performed any drop test on it to see if how it stands up but it doesn't have any front protection so I don't think I'll intentionally perform this test. The only thing this lacked is an accompanying plastic cover for the iPhone. It comes with 2 cases and the special order only had 1 plastic cover. If the plastic cover costs so little to buy, why can't they include enough covers for the cases? It's really obvious that they want you to buy an additional cover separately for pennies yet charge dollars for shipping! I'm not falling for that scam!

I loved this case, it was the most slim-fitting and best looking case that I was able to find for the older iPhone model. It blends in with the natural color of the phone perfectly. It does not offer much protection for the screen, but fits well on the back.
