Product Description The recessed headphone port on the iPhone prevents many standard 3.5 mm headphone jacks from fitting the device properly. With this headphone adapter, you can be guaranteed that all headphones will work with your device, regardless of the brand.

iPhone headphone adapter May 14, 2008 Great product. Works as advertised. Great price, hurry up and grab this for your iPhone if you haven't already and save some $ over buying the marked up ones at the Apple Store.
It does the trick... May 14, 2008 Relatively inexpensive and works fine. (Total cost with shipping ended up being about 5 bucks or so when I got it.)
As others have stated the adapter is small and could be easy to lose especially if you don't keep it in one place. I'd recommend getting a couple, which will drop the avg. cost per adapter when you factor in the shipping.
The only semi-con I have about it is that it seems to lose signal power, meaning you have to really turn up the volume on your iPhone. Not a big deal.
Overall it does what it should and gets around the evil iPhone recessed jack.
Broke in 1 month May 14, 2008 I bought his adapter 1 month ago and the wires have ripped apart from the female side. The only way to fix them is to soder it back together but you have to rip the rubber encasing off. Do not buy this
Distorted sound May 12, 2008 I purchased this because I wanted to hook my iPhone to my car speakers. Right off the bat, I noticed the vocals were only coming into the right side. I played around with the balance, and there was definite sound quality issues. The left side sounded distorted and contianed some static. I used my own earbuds to confirm this was coming from the adapter and not the car stereo.
This is definitely unacceptable! I really question the validity of these 5-star reviews that it is receiving. Don't be fooled! Good thing it didn't cost much or I would be furious.
Compatible with Iphone & Ipod Touch May 9, 2008 This product is compatible with Iphone & Ipod Touch. The sound is perfect and it's nice and small.
