Product Description The Special Edition Claro continues the tradition with dual-layer protection combining a shock-absorbing black silicone inner layer with a tough scratch resistant dark tinted outer layer. Its silicone inner layer is coated with an anti-dust finish and sports a red clickwheel. As with the original Claro, the Special Edition helps to maintain a clear view of the iPod while keeping it safe from everyday harm.KICKING BACK Claro's integrated clip also has a kick stand feature that gives you hands free viewing and listening. It is also one of the lowest profile clips available on an iPod case.A CLEAR VIEW Claro has a scratch resistant finish (ClaroCoatTM) that keeps it looking great so you can enjoy viewing your favourite videos without annoying scratchesPLUG AND PLAY Claro gives you easy access to all ports and controls, so plugging in and out is never a problem.Inner SKIN Claro includes a specially treated clarified Black/Red slims silicone layer that helps to protect against moisture and scratching yet allows the beauty of the iPod to show.

very good product January 11, 2008 i really like this case.the hard shell really protects my ipod.only prob is the wheel protector makes it really hard to spin touch wheel.i ended up cutting it off but other than that it is a very good case.
Looks nice, protects well, just don't plan on using the scroll wheel December 26, 2007 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
Title says it all. The way this works is that it has a silicone covering that you put over the iPod (fits nice and snug, by the way). Then you encase it in this plastic casing which has a belt clip that doubles as a desk stand. Not bad, in theory, and while this thing protects the iPod very well, the covering used also makes the scroll-wheel pretty much unusable (in a "it sorta works, but you have to do it juuuust right" sort of way, which is the most annoying of all because it gives you false hope that it'll actually work).
I can recommend this to anyone who only doesn't actually need to navigate. (For example, if all you ever do is turn this thing on and put it on shuffle, then by all means, go for it. Most of us, however, like being able to select stuff once in a while.)
Red eye December 24, 2007 Remember the U2 player? This ain't it. It looks really cool in a menacing sort of way....like putting on Vader's head unit, but the red dial doesn't work too good....actually it sucked. So lets see....it made my new classic look bigger and I couldn't control the button.....emmm...no wonder it is a special edition.
