iPod shuffle water proof case August 11, 2008 works great! It's much larger than expected but still a great way to take my tunes kayaking without the ziploc bags...

thumbs up for the shuffle housing April 9, 2008 1 out of 3 found this review helpful
I swim laps for about an hour a day after work. I have never swum with headphones on before. Sometimes I just like the sound of the water and airbubbles going by, but for those times when I would like some music this case makes swimming sublime.
Nice, but complicated March 31, 2008 2 out of 4 found this review helpful
The idea for a waterproof case is fascinating, of course. However, it is very difficult and complicated to put the iPod inside it and get everything properly sealed. The material appears to be from the same compounds as good, quality googles are made, but every athletic swimmer knows, even those don't last much beyond a few months, so the price is too high and swimmers run the risk that they may destroy their iPod at random.
worth the trouble March 11, 2008 2 out of 3 found this review helpful
I bought this case to replace my nano and its waterproof case. I found the nano case just too big to be comfortable strapped to my arm in the water. Though still quite a big larger than the shuffle itself, this case is a reasonable size. I don't even bother with the arm band that comes with it and just clip it to the top of my swimsuit where is mostly stays in place just fine. It is difficult to get the shuffle in and out, so I just leave my shuffle in the case between battery charge ups (I kept my nano for other iPod listening) which lasts over 5 swim sessions for me. The H20 earphones (sold separately of course) aren't the most comfortable but with a swim cap they stay in place and overall the set up is worth the trouble.
