Works as expected. The cable is of good quality. $5 with shipping is a steal! Don't get scared by the questionable reviews. I use it to recharge my iPhone at work.

This cable offers great functionality (including latch on system that prevents the iphone/ipod to become disconected accidentally) and it is very cheap!

I second what everyone else has been saying. When I tried to plug this in to my DELL computer, it froze both my keyboard and my mouse input.
Stay away, don't buy this product. It's not up to standard.
