Not a needed product on the iPhone July 25, 2008
This screen protector may sound good but in practice you do not need it on the iPhone. The screen on the iPhone is glass and is virtually scratch proof. Further, it feels much better and looks clearer and more crisp without a layer of plastic over it. I also think the auto brightness sensor of the iPhone functions better without a screen protector.
The screen protector is also difficult to apply so that it's aligned right and has no dust underneath, even when following the directions exactly.
To me, this is a waste of money.
Goes on well and protects the phone as stated. April 29, 2008 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
I love the price that this item is offered at. I had a little trouble lining up the piece at first; however, after my friend helped me out, it was smooth and looked sleek. It does not block any signal reception or speaker like the original piece does when you first get the iPhone. I definitely recommend this item!

it is not really anti-glare, you will receive a china imitation of the real anti-glare screen protector.
Minimally Acceptable - It is Something But Not Much of Anything November 25, 2007 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
First, while I understand the need to protect the iphone, most cases are way too bulky. The iPhone is NOT the iPod, you need to be able to rapidly pull it out of your pocket and then hold it up to your head for minutes to dozens of minutes on end - yes, it's an expensive purchase but I'm not going to baby something I need to use and keep it lightweight.
These are minimally acceptable as an alternative. They are two sheets of specialized plastic ... I suppose your other choice being some saran wrap ... you get a front sheet with a hole that leaves the HOME button at the bottom exposed and of course, the earhole.
The problem - they don't even know the exact dimensions of the front of the iPhone, it's slightly wider by about 1mm and about 1mm too short of the iPhone screen.
Now, once you get the front sheet on without any bubbles is not bad - even though it's slightly off in size, it's not really noticeable unless you look very closely. The tap & finger sensors all work fine with this additional layer.
So, it's something but really, not much of anything.
And be prepared to spend at LEAST 15 minutes trying to get the front piece on without any dirt particles forming bubbles.
Rightfully, even if this were $4.95, it would still only be three stars but at $12.95, it's something but really, not much of anything. I suppose it makes me feel better about slipping it into my pocket but then again, all it is is a pieces of thin plastic ...
