You get what you pay for January 31, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Well I had been contemplating on whether or not to purchase these headphones and finally decided that the price was low enough that if they turned out to be duds, I would be out of too much money. I purchased them and they came, the headphone were a little bigger than I thought and they kinda reminded me of the old FM/AM headphones from the 80's. The transmitter has an interesting look and has a switch on it to turn if off or have it transmit AM/FM stations or transmit RF audio from the audio inputs.
I hooked up the transmitter and tested the head phones and the sound was not that bad. Granted I didn't expect to get the same frequency response as the wired Sony (MDR-V150) that I was using. My only pet peeve was that from time to time the headphone would switch to and AM/FM station despite the transmitter being set to RF. The range was not bad either, but when you get too far the headphone auto-switch to AM/FM frequencies.
All in all, if you're looking for top quality, then keep on searching, but if you're looking for decent sound and the freedom of wireless then this would be $11 well spent.
Low Cost High Sound July 2, 2007 1 out of 2 found this review helpful
The system works great and you can't beat the sound quality for the price. I'm able to walk all over my house and still get great reception. The headphones are a little heavier than other models, but still comfortable.
