The OEM iPod headphones are great for the first few weeks you use them, but then the audio quality degrades.

The sound is fine, but these earphones are too big! Because of their size, they hurt my ears just minutes after wearing them no matter how I position them. Not a very enjoyable experience!
Another annoyance is that they don't stay in. The slightest bump of the cord and they're out.

the seller sent me the older style ear buds, and they were not apple brand, they were a cheap knockoff

So far I have had two pairs of apple headphones for my ipod. The first pair came with my ipod and at first they worked really good but then they started to fall apart after a month and a half. Then I bought a second pair thinking I was just careless witht the headphones. Of course my new pair was working really good but after a couple months static started to come from the right. They work good at first but break and fall apart easy. Very annoying for how much they cost and wll not buy these headphones again.
