I don't know how people have given this product 5 stars! It looks very cheap and was not playing music from my ipod. Also introducing unnescessary noise in music. Don't buy this product.

I ordered this for my new I-Phone 3G. This charger will not work with the new I-Phone 3G. They now state on the add that it will only work with the first generation of the I-Phone.

This is a no-frills cradle and dock. It seems well made. When connected, an iPod's volume control is deactivated, and the volume is controlled by the unit to which the signal is sent. I like this. Although several adapters for different-sized iPods are included, they are not helpful to me because I have a protective case on both my nano and iPod Touch. This makes them too large for the adaptors. But as far as I can tell, the adapters are not really needed and the unit works well without them.

Not the most solid feeling object I've ever held but I now owned it for at least eight months and it works great.
