 bad cartridges October 4, 2008
cartridges leaked and were not really compatible. Not consistent packaging, some were oval shaped.

I was skeptical about using offbrand ink, this is my third time buying it, it looks just as good for all my txt documents as the epson brand stuff. I dont print pictures, i just do txt documents for college and its a great value.

My usual supplier of compatible inks had changed it's pricing/packaging schemes and I could not get what I had been getting at the same prices. I looked here and the prices looked good. I ordered one full set and an extra black. They arrived as promised and so far have performed well.
Note that I do not print photos on this printer, so I cannot vouch for that kind of result. About 99% of what I print is text or simple graphics that do not require color accuracy. The few times that I have printed photos on paper, they have been a little dark; as they had been with my previous supplier. This may be a result of the type/brand of paper I use also, so I can make no meaningful comment on photo reproduction.
