 Complete waste of money January 6, 2009
Don't bother ordering this unless you are 100% sure you won't get a single speck of dust on the film and you'll line up the film perfectly with the phone on the first try. I was EXTREMELY careful to clean the screen with the microfiber and VERY carefully and slowly place the film on the phone, and I ended up with multiple air bubbles that could not be squeezed out. It's almost impossible to line the film up perfectly with the button and the speaker the first time, and if you don't line it up perfectly, you'll have bubbles.

It's fantastic and under 4 dollars. I wouldn't go so far to say its invisible, but extremely close to it. I can see the edges, but only because I put it on. As for the reviews saying it is hard to put on, it was extremely easy for me to put on because I read their reviews first. The instructions on the package leave out a few important steps. You only get one film, so put it on right the first time. Step one: clean your screen well, and finish by wiping with the microfiber cloth which is included. Step 2: peel back the film just enough at each end to remove the punch outs for the speaker and the button. step 3: then install as on the directions, by peeling back half the film, line it up with the speaker, and then adhere the film to the screen. step 4: I had a few small air bubbles. Dont peel it back up. I just applied pressure with my finger nail through the microfiber cloth and was able to force them all out in seconds. I'm very happy with this and elago's glossy black back case. From a few feet away, you cannot tell I have anything on my black iphone.

As long as you thoroughly clean your screen before using this film, and take care applying, this is a totally invisible and completely effective way to protect your iPhone screen from scratches. The only drawback is that if there is a spec of dust or lint on the screen when you apply, it will form an air bubble around it. Excellent way to keep the sleek look of the iPhone, but keep the screen looking brand new.

I must say that this is the best of all screen protectors i have used for this iphone and the first generation! is very easy to clean with the microfiber cleaner. I reccomend it 100% really.
