 Amazing sound from such a small speaker December 30, 2008
This speaker produces great sound especially considering its size. Only when at full volume does the sound become just a bit tinny. I am very happy with this purchase.

The sound is great and so loud I can't even turn the volume all the up!
I, also, just purchased another portable speaker(another company) that swivels in a case and thought it'd be bearable for audio books only and terrible for music. Also, the volume turned all the way up..was still low for that one. What a waste of money.
That's until I just tried this speaker...it's unbeatable. The sound is great for music and audio books. Great product and I'm thinking of getting another. Very pleased with sound and volume. You don't have to look any further.
Also, I honestly was considering upgrading my iPod Touch 1G because of the speakers to 2G, now I know I can wait until the next generation comes out. I really like what this speaker does. Great Product.
Good for voice only December 9, 2008
I use it mainly with my CD Walkman for voice recordings and it works well for this purpose. It has plenty of volume. Also is adequate for listening to audiobooks on the iPod. For music it's too small to give adequate bass.
It uses a Li-ion battery that charges from a USB port-- a nice design.
One concern I have is, because there is no cord, that it may stress the jack of the Walkman, but so far no problem.

This speaker is awesome. I bought one and loved it so much I bought another. I use one with my laptop because it doesn't ever seem loud enough even on the highest but with this little speaker it's too loud!
I bought another one, same item but different color, for my ipod. It works so well and the sound is so clear that I can even use it in the car while I'm driving. I love how small it is, easy to charge using a usb connection and is just the best little speaker I've ever used.
