Best for the first iPhone July 30, 2008
I mistakenly believed that this charger would work for both iphones. Be aware- this device will not fit the iphone 3g, nor will the outlet charger work for the iPhone 3G.
The USB port works just fine, but to get the phone to fit you need to do some handiwork. I sanded down the inside edges to make it fit the 3G. So if you're looking for a stand by your computer at home or office, this works pretty good (especially for the price!).
Just be aware you'll have to modify it a little, and that the outlet plug won't charge your iPhone 3G.
Otherwise, this product is pretty good.
