A general improvement on the palm clip on. March 23, 2008
I used the palm phone clip for six months.. it doesn't secure the phone very well. This is much safer design for the phone. This case has slipped off me once but I was positioned poorly in a tight car seat with it against the seatbelt. Hasn't repeated but I am now more aware of it. It is fairly comfortable and easy to get the phone in and out of the case, though I am using a Treo 650 which still has the fat stubby antenna that is at least useful in this one capacity... I can pluck it out of the case by it. I find I do need put the phone in with the screen facing the back of the case though. If it faces forward buttons seem to get pushed and things activated despite the palm screen lock. Darned if I can figure out how that occurs but it happened a couple times before I reversed it's position. I can't explain it but I have to report it. Hasn't happened since I started putting it in facing rear though which has no drawback besides not being intuitive. This is a good price on a very functional case.. provided you use it sensibly.
