Works just as advertised October 20, 2008 First - this arrived BEFORE the expected date, so I was ecstatic about that!
The product is exactly as described. Other reviews are accurate that the belt clip is not much to speak of. I haven't tried it, because carrying my player on my belt isn't my thing. The arm band is better than I was expecting. Some reviews claimed it was nothing more than a piece of elastic. While this is true, it is a 2 inch wide piece of black elastic with velcro to hold it in place (I ordered the black model, so don't know if the elastic will be blue should you order a blue one). It is more than ample to get the job done. But, if you are some sort of body builder the elastic strap may be too short to fit around your arm. Then again, if you ARE a body builder, you are probably already used to things being too small for your properly pumped up biceps.
I think the screen protector will work just fine. it is a piece of "contact" plastic - much like a window clingy thingy (sorry, couldn't help it :-) - it will keep your screen from scratching in every day use. It will NOT protect your screen if you take a hammer to it, but if you do - well, what were you thinking?
The silicone does make it a little harder to turn the dial/wheel. However, I am willing to make the trade for some protection, better gripability & the better access to the other buttons. Also - all of the slots line up, so you don't have to finagle and tug to get the USB cable or headphones inserted.
Overall, I am happy with my purchase, and would do so again.
Hope this helps you out.
Great Protection September 5, 2008 I purchased these for my kids new mp3 players. I have an 8 year old who has no respect for delicate electronics. She just turns it on and goes. It was a bit of a challenge to get on but once I did, it fit like a glove and all appropriate markings were where they were supposed to be. The arm band is great. My son really loves this. He puts it on and rides his bike with no problems. I did find that the belt clip that came with it seemed a bit flemsy. The plastic is pretty pliable. We havent really used it so I dont know the endurance of it however everything else was well worth the money spent.
Great Product August 31, 2008 This case fits my e270 perfectly, and really glows! All the buttons are still easy to use with the case on. Just be careful to line up the screen protector perfectly when you put it on and keep the adhesive side clean until you get it on your player screen.
Exactly what I expected May 30, 2008 This product was received promptly, exactly as advertised. I have no complaints with it. Perhaps the one downside I could point out (and I knew going into buying it that I would probably experience this) is that the raised cover for the buttons makes it harder for someone with larger fingers to spin the jog wheel. My 6'4" friend with larger fingers than me has had trouble turning the wheel when using it.
Arm and a leg for shipping April 29, 2008 Great product overall. Fit my sansa like a glove. Only thing I would mention is that the shipping is excessive.
