It is great. It is better than the one I had and since this phone had been discontinued, I had a very difficult time finding a replacement. It fit perfect and looks great.

I purchased this case as a replacement for a Cingular case for my Motorola V551. The old case was several years old, having originally been purchased for an older (similar) model of the Motorola phone so had finally worn out. The leather quality is not as good as the Cingular case was; however, the cost of this one was about half, so it's a fair trade. It is fairly attractive, just not as soft. Also, I am able to use the camera with this case in place (the old one got in the way). I clip the case to my purse and I like the fact that I am able to slip it off the detachable clip fairly quickly when I get a call, the same as the old Cingular case. It also comes with a second clip that isn't detachable for those who perfer that kind (somewhat smaller). Overall, I'm impressed with this cell phone case and very glad that I ordered it for myself for Christmas!

I have the V557 and we needed the case because it seems like the keys scratch the screen. The case covers the whole screen as well as from 456 down on the keypad. Stays in place pretty well. There are only a few cons. First the two halves snap together and this loops when it is open. This often blocks the camera and easily comes undone. It also seems a bit bulky but not bad. Otherwise for the price it is a very good product.
